so many different ways!
We will focus on the word MOTHER all week as I teach you simple yet effective ways to create different styles.
Each morning starting Monday, April 28th - Friday, May 2nd, you will receive in your inbox:
A Lettering Worksheet to print out and go through.
A 5-10 minute video lesson that guides you through the Worksheet.
Also during the week, I will be inside the Broadcast Channel on my Instagram called “Lettering Tips” with daily prizes to encourage you to complete each day!
How it Works

Hi there! I’m Nicole Miyuki
Artist, Author, and Your Lettering Friend
And I’m here to help you see lettering in a new way! After teaching 100’s of students both in-person and online, I’ve noticed that practicing and tracing over and over is just not the answer.
I believe in experimenting with a purpose, showing you how to “draw” letters differently, and then giving you space to experiment and play!
Teaching this Lettering Week with the word “love” back in February was a blast and it was highly requested to do it again — so here we are!
I’d love to have you join me either again or for the first time!
Why this format of learning works:
Bite-Size Videos: Learn and complete in the pockets of your day — all you need is 15 minutes! Perfect for your lunch break, in between meetings, or in the windows of motherhood.
No Fancy Tools: Use any writing tool — a pencil, marker, or anything on your desk. We are focusing on drawing the letters, so no need to fret about those thin and thick lines.
Worksheets: These Lettering Worksheets are designed to actually get you to put pen to paper. You aren’t just tracing either — I focus on how to change things up and show you how to best experiment and play.
Accountability: Each day I’ll be picking one person who finishes the Worksheet to win a prize. I mean who doesn’t love prizes as an incentive!
And guess what—all of this for only $5!
Yes, that’s right! That means $1 per day to change the way you look at lettering.
And because we are “Celebrating Mothers,” each sign-up will allow you to invite one friend. So think $2.50 per person and a sweet gift to celebrate others.

Questions you might be thinking…
-
Nope, not at all. Lettering is about drawing, not writing. So good handwriting is not a pre-requisite. Also, I teach you how to analyze the letters and then draw the lines to create the shape of the letters — not how-to perfectly handwrite a letter.
-
Yes, most definitely! Even if you’ve dabbled in lettering here and there, I designed each day and Worksheet to be simple yet powerful so you can feel successful.
-
First off, I love that lettering is your thing. Second, this week is definitely for you too. Any practice is a good way to continue growing and I have a feeling there are a few tips inside the week that will be new to you. Also, you can invite a friend who maybe loves what you do but has been intimidated to give it a try!
-
Because you can learn and do so much with just one word! The techniques that I am teaching you can be applied to other words as well. Also, a huge part of this week is actually completing each day. That sense of accomplishment will serve you well and get you inspired to create more!
-
Yes! You will have lifetime access to these videos so no need to feel pressure if you can’t do them all in the week.
-
Literally whatever you have handy! You can do the Worksheets with a pencil, a pen, marker, or your favorite writing tool. We are not focusing on thin and thick lines. You can also download the Worksheets and do them on your iPad.
